Samsung promises to surprise with a new version of the Galaxy S21 FE

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, presented in January of this year, portrays one of the brand’s greatest misadventures in recent times. This is a piece of equipment with excellent technical capabilities, however, the price and moment launch compromised its success.

However, the South Korean giant seems determined to give this team another chance with a new version coming soon. This one, however, will be less powerful than the one known at the beginning of 2022.

The mid-range Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is coming soon

The existence of this new version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is revealed by two European stores: ITRelation and Technet. On both platforms, we see a mysterious listing of this computer with the processor snapdragon 720G.

This is a setback compared to the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 present in the model launched last January. These are potato chips top of the range, while the Snapdragon 720G fits into the mid-range segment.

In addition, the inclusion of this processor means the loss of the 5G connectivity that prevails in the current Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. A difficult absence to hide and justify in the middle of 2022.

Needless to say, a typo in both stores seems highly unlikely. Indeed, the theory arises that Samsung is finalizing preparations to bring a new mid-range model to Europe that few would expect.

The rest of the equipment specifications remain the same as the original Galaxy S21 FE. We have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full-HD + resolution, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

At the photographic level we have two lenses with a resolution of 12 MP and a third with 8 MP. At the front, there is a 32 MP sensor for selfies and video calls. Its battery will be 4500 mAh.

Finally, both stores report that they expect to have stock of this Galaxy S21 FE from June 30. It means that the official announcement of the smartphone could take place in the next two weeks.
