Samsung launched the Apple-inspired Image Cropper feature on the Galaxy S23 series earlier this year. The function allows cut objects and people from photos, allowing you to paste them elsewhere.
Now, the Korean brand has confirmed that this feature will come to older Galaxy phones.
A Samsung representative announced on the samsung korea forum that the feature will come to the Galaxy S20 series and later, the Galaxy Note 20 line, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and later, and the Galaxy Z Flip and later.
The announcement also noted that the software update to enable this feature on older phones was “in progress”. So soon you will see this feature in your Gallery app.
Those aren’t the only new camera features coming to older Galaxy phones. The Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Z Fold 4 will also receive the Expert Raw/Pro/Pro Video modes on the front camera. In turn, the S22 series, Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 incorporate the option hyperlapse astro 300x.
It’s great news that Samsung continues to add new features to older Galaxy phones.
