As of late, various rumors have suggested that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra flagship will arrive equipped with a 200-megapixel sensor.

Now, one of the usual sources about Samsung advances that it is confirmed that the model will integrate this super sensor.

For some time now, many rumors point to Samsung’s new Galaxy s23 Ultra being equipped with a 200-megapixel primary sensor. And now the Galaxy Club website, one of the usual sources of the brand, advances that this feature is confirmed for the terminal.

According to the same website, the 200-megapixel super sensor will be the only change in the model’s rear camera setup. All because Samsung will keep the same 10-megapixel telephoto sensor and 3x optical zoom, as well as the 10-megapixel periscope sensor and 10x optical zoom that was already available in the previous model. Unfortunately, no information is available about the ultra-wide sensor that will be integrated.

Remember that Samsung has already presented its new 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP3 sensor, and the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is now available on the market, which integrates the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor, also 200-megapixel.

In this sense, it is only a matter of time before the South Korean giant integrates a self-made component into one of its smartphones.

On the other hand, considering that the Galaxy S22 Ultra is considered one of the best models for photography, it is natural that Samsung continues to bet on this attribute for the successor of said model.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could launch in January 2023

Another rumor that has been gaining strength is that Samsung could advance the presentation and launch, worldwide, of its new Galaxy S23 series, which includes the Ultra model.

Who advances the information is the leaker Ice Universe who justifies his publication on the social network Twitter with the anticipated presentation of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that should take place later this year, in November.

According to the well-known leaker, after Qualcomm’s presentation, the brands will want their high-end models equipped with this new chip to be available as soon as possible.

Samsung will not be an exception to this rule and could bring forward the launch of its Galaxy S23 series to January instead of February as usual.
