Samsung Galaxy S23 could bring a long-desired spec

According to the latest leaks, Samsung could update the front camera of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ models.

Since 2019, the standard Galaxy S and Plus models have kept the same 10-megapixel front sensor, but it seems that the South Korean giant will respond to the wishes of users and update this specification.

This is the latest leak of information about Samsung that is revealing the GalaxyClub website and that could not bring better news to fans of the South Korean giant’s Galaxy S series.

According to the well-known website, Samsung will finally update the front camera of the standard Galaxy S and Plus models, already in the upcoming S23 series. This is an improvement desired by many users, since since 2019 these models of the famous high-end series have kept the same 10-megapixel sensor.

Apparently, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ will already have a 12-megapixel front camera, which may seem like a minor change, but it will make a difference.

Nothing has been advanced about the front sensor of the next Galaxy S23 Ultra, but considering that the S22 Ultra model already has a 40-megapixel camera, it is unlikely that Samsung will change this specification.

Rumors advance that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200 megapixel sensor

However, other rumors related to Samsung say that the S23 Ultra model could have a 200 megapixel sensor, more specifically with the brand-owned HM1 ISOCELL.

This theory gains strength if we think that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor already supports a maximum resolution of 200 megapixels. Considering that the Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to be equipped with the successor of this chip, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, in some regions of the world, such an update could even happen.

Also, some rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 + are also the subject of an update and include a 108-megapixel primary sensor in their rear camera configuration.

But for now, it’s still too early to take these rumors for granted, as we still have many months to go until Samsung launches the next generation of its high-end series, which should happen in the first months of 2023.
