Tendulkar was in Indore for the last four days in connection with the T20 matches of the Sachin Road Safety World Series tournament. During this, the chief curator Chauhan presented him with this special dance as a gift. But this gift was not unilateral. In return, Tendulkar gave Samandar Singh Chauhan such gifts, which no one receives soon, even after trying very hard. Chouhan said on Tuesday that hitting legend Sachin Tendulkar gave him his autographed jersey and shoes as a special gift in Indore. According to Chauhan, Tendulkar gave him this gift in exchange for the ball with which the master blaster scored the first double century in ODI history 12 years ago in Gwalior.

According to Chauhan, after the match between India Legends and New Zealand Legends was washed away by rain on Monday night, Tendulkar invited him to his team’s locker room and gave him shoes and a T-shirt with his autograph as a special gift. In fact, the whole incident progressed to such a degree that when Tendulkar arrived at Indore’s Holkar Stadium for practice on Sunday, the chief curator whisked him away with the ball with which he scored a double century in 2010 at Gwalior.

Chauhan had asked Sachin to autograph this ball. Chauhan said: “Seeing this ball, very happy Tendulkar asked me if he could give it to him. I immediately agreed as it was a matter of luck for me.

He said that after the one-day match between India and South Africa played 12 years ago in Gwalior, he had kept the ball associated with Tendulkar’s two-century record as a souvenir. The curator, who has more than four decades of experience in ground preparation, said he had prepared the ground on which Tendulkar made this record at Captain Roopsingh Stadium in Gwalior.
