Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Russia is in talks with Iran to strengthen ties.

According to foreign media, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a joint press conference after meeting with his Iranian counterpart. On the occasion, Sergei Lavrov said that Russia is making agreements with Iran to strengthen relations and relations between the two countries have reached new heights.

“We are also working to strengthen relations with other countries in the region,” he said, adding that Russia supports resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through dialogue.

On the occasion, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that the dispute between Russia and Ukraine was due to the expansion of the NATO alliance, we do not support the war in Ukraine and want this dispute to be resolved through negotiations.

It should be noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in the Iranian capital on a two-day visit, where he met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran SS Raisi in Tehran and conveyed a message of goodwill from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian foreign minister said that all countries affected by the selfishness of the United States and its satellites now need to adjust their economic relations in a way that does not depend on the wishes and aspirations of our Western partners. ۔
