Washington : Russia’s possible attack on Ukraine has increased the concern of the countries of the world. US President Joe Biden’s administration has warned Russia of “serious consequences” if it invades Ukraine and has called for a diplomatic solution to the issue. “We are actively working to reach a diplomatic solution to ease the crisis,” White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Carine Jean-Pierre told reporters. Biden spoke with President Putin over the weekend and we continue to engage with the Russian government in full coordination with our allies and partners.
“If Russia chooses to take a constructive stand on this issue, the path of diplomacy is available,” he said.
