An adviser to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, assured this Tuesday that kyiv has not yet responded to Moscow’s latest demandswith which the negotiation process within the framework of the war is stalled.
This was pointed out to the media by presidential adviser Yuri Ushakov, who recalled that in the last face-to-face meeting between Russian and Ukrainian representatives on April 15 in Turkey, the Russian side submitted a document with proposals.
"Our draft was delivered, which for the time being is still the last because there has been no reaction. After that there were unofficial contacts by phone, but not at the level of delegations, but at the level of individual representatives. Then they’re all over"Ushakov has reported, according to the Russian agency Interfax.
President Putin announced on February 24 the start of a "special military operation" on Ukrainian territory. Just a few days later, on February 28, the first contacts between Moscow and Kyiv which, however, are now stagnant.
