Russia freed American basketball star Brittney Griner on Thursday in a prisoner swap with the US for Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout in the United Arab Emirates. Griner is an Olympic medalist imprisoned since February in Russia for having a vaporizer with cannabis liquid in her luggage. Bout is a former lieutenant colonel in the Russian Army who is considered by the US Department of Justice to be one of the biggest arms dealers in the world. Arrested in Thailand in 2008, he was serving a 25-year sentence for conspiracy to sell tens of millions of dollars worth of weapons,
