There will be nine Argentine tennis players participating in the main draw of the Roland Garros tournament that will be played in Paris from next Sunday. According to the draw, Francisco Cerundolo (28) will play in the first round with the Spanish Jaume Munar (77), Sebastian Baez (44) with the Frenchman Gael Monfils (386) and Pedro Cachin (63) with the Austrian Dominic Thiem (91).
Frederick Coria (94) will go against the Croatian Borna Coric (16), diego schwartzman (93) with the Spanish Bernabé Zapata Miralles (37 and Guido Pella (421) with the French Quentin Halys (87). Thiago Tirante (153) will be drawn at the end of all the matches of the classification in which they are still competing in the third and final round Facundo Diaz Acosta (137) and Genaro Alberto Olivieri (227).
Among the ladies, the only representative of Argentina will be Rosario Nadia Podoroska (101) who will debut with the French Jessika Ponchet (123). The French Open will be played from Sunday May 28 to Sunday June 11 at the complex located in the Parisian neighborhood of Bois de Boulogne and will distribute a record prize pool of 43,900,000 euros (about 47 million dollars).
