The brand has just revealed worldwide the Redmi Buds 4 active. These follow the design line of the Redmi Buds 4 Pro, but it will surely be a more affordable product. The name indicates that they might be suitable for active users.
The Redmi Buds 4 Active have IPX4 certification
This is confirmed by the fact that they have IPX4 certification. According to Xiaomi, these will be splash resistant. But the brand warns that their use should be avoided in strenuous exercises, since sweat can damage them.
They have 12mm dynamic drivers, which promise good sound quality and enhanced bass. The brand also highlights noise cancellation for calls, which improves microphone quality in noisy environments.
Up to 28 hours of autonomy in the Redmi Buds 4 Active
The battery of these Redmi Buds 4 Active also promises to be decent. The brand ensures a 5-hour autonomy in the headphones and up to 28 hours with the charging case. This charging is done via USB-C. With just 10 minutes of quick charging, they provide an additional 110 minutes of playback.
This new model is also already equipped with the latest Bluetooth 5.3. This means that they provide good stability and low power consumption. With this Bluetooth, users can also activate the low latency mode.
The controls of the Redmi Buds 4 Active are done by touching the side. These let you answer or reject calls, pause or change songs, and activate low latency mode. They have Google Fast Pair and you can customize the experience with the Xiaomi EarBuds app.
For now, they are available on Xiaomi’s global website, and they are expected to be available in the coming weeks. The price has not yet been revealed.
