EITHER smartphone Realme GT Neo5 it will be the next top of the range for 2023, and it will soon arrive in stores with a truly impressive loading pattern. In question is the standard charge at 240 W in its top-of-the-range version, in addition to also arriving with a charge at 150 W in a second version now confirmed.

As a quick comparison, we currently have the Xiaomi 12T on the market with a 120 W fast charge that fully charges our battery in less than 20 minutes. However, Realme wants to double that goal by loading up to 240 on its flagship for a full charge in about 10 minutes.

Full charge in about 15 minutes with 150W of power on the Realme GT Neo5

It will do so with its next Realme GT Neo5 which, as we already know, will come in two versions, 240 W and 150 W for free. Both impressive, but one patently challenging by today’s fast-charging standards.

As the Chinese brand itself has now revealed, this smartphone will be able to fully charge its battery in just 16 minutes. That is, from 0% to 100% charge according to the company’s tests.

It should be noted that the 150 W charging version has a 5,000 mAh battery. This is already a reference value for most low-, medium-, and high-end smartphones, especially from Chinese manufacturers.

It should be noted, however, that Realme already has a mobile capable of charging at 150 W. At stake is the Realme GT Neo3 150W, launched with the aim of releasing this same technology.

For this, it depends on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, a high-end chipset, although this Realme GT Neo5 will surpass it in several aspects, such as the processor.

We have two versions of the Realme GT Neo5 smartphone

Apparently, both versions of the aforementioned Realme GT Neo5 will be identical in terms of technical characteristics, although with one worthy exception, the processor. In fact, the chipset capable of handling 240 W of power will be manufactured by Qualcomm, while in the 150 W version we will find a version with MediaTek chipset.

More specifically, we’ll have the 5nm Dimensity 8200, the latest version of this more affordable high-end chipset. We will also have a battery of different capacity, with this latest version having a 5,000 mAh cell compared to the 4,500 mAh of the version with a charge of up to 240 W of power.

Ultimately it remains to be seen which, if any, of these versions will make it to the European market, plus the phone will get some LED outlines on the back to highlight the chipset and RAM modules. Now, to wait for its official revelation and possible launch in Eurooa.
