Puerto Rican Chris Nido wins the Grand Final of the Canita Tour

Puerto Rican Chris Nido established himself as the champion of the grand finale of the Canita Tour, held from Thursday until this Sunday at the Corales golf course in Punta Cana.

Nido finished with rounds of 69-72-75 and 69, to finish with 285 hits in total, one less than Rhadamés Peña, 286, and Willy Pumarol was third, with 289.

The Puerto Rican Nido wins the Tour Canita for the second stop in a row.

Nido, who plays in the PGA Latinoamérica, gets his pass to the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship, together with Juan José Guerra and Rhadamés Peña.

Nido was the only player to shoot 69 in two rounds, on Thursday and Sunday. No other player threw that score of 69 on the evening.

The Puerto Rican got four stops out of seven that the Canita Tour organized between 2022 and 2023.
