An inmate has been found mysteriously dead in a US prison after authorities accused him of forcing him to listen to the children’s song ‘Baby Shark’.

Foreign media Reports According to the ongoing press statement of the prison authorities, 48-year-old inmate John Bosco was found in critical condition at the Oklahoma County Detention Center last Sunday. Declared dead.

According to Jail Communications Director Mark Opgrand, the inmate’s death could also be due to drug overdose and an investigation is underway.

It may be noted that Basco, who died mysteriously, was incarcerated in a drug-trafficking case and was among the group of inmates who sued the prison authorities for torturing the detention center officials and singing the children’s song ‘Baby Shark’. He was accused of forcing him to listen.

Daniel Hedrick, Joseph “Joey” Mitchell and John Bosco were among those who filed the lawsuit against jail officials and staff last November in federal court in Oklahoma City against Oklahoma County Commissioners Sheriff Tommy Johnson III, jail trustees and two others. A civil case was filed against the former jailers. In which it was alleged that two prison officials and their supervisor had abused them while engaging in criminal behavior with them.

In the civil rights lawsuit, four men previously incarcerated in the Oklahoma City Jail said they too were subjected to various torture tactics, including being made to stand for hours at a time along with verbal and physical abuse and children singing “Baby.” “Shark” involved being forced to listen.

According to a report in 2020, an internal investigation found that at least four inmates were grabbed, handcuffed, and held against a wall while the song was played at a high volume continuously for hours, and the practice took place in November and December. It was repeated in two separate incidents in 2019.
