Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan apologized to the public for delaying the rescue operation after the devastating earthquakes.
According to the Turkish media, President Erdoğan reached the earthquake-affected area of Adiyaman, where he met with the victims and while reviewing the situation, directed to speed up the rehabilitation works.
He said that due to severe weather conditions, the rescue operation could not be started in time in Adamayan, for which he apologized.
President Erdoğan said that he promised his nation that he would heal the wounds of the earthquake within a year and provide the victims with the best and already good housing.
He said that 50,000 houses will be built in Adamayan district and a new beautiful and safe building will be built in place of every demolished building.
