Portafolio Hazte ECO and Dominicana Creativa win prizes

The green finance portfolio “Hazte ECO” and the institutional book and multimedia platform “Dominicana Creativa. Talent in the orange economy” of the Dominican Popular Bank won silver and bronze awards at the 19th International Stevie® Awards.

“Hazte ECO” was awarded a Silver Stevie as Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America. Meanwhile, the “Creative Dominican” project won a bronze Stevie for Communications Campaign of the Year, in the Arts and Entertainment category.

Its about second consecutive year in which Banco Popular initiatives are recognized in this international business award organized by the International Business Awards® (IBA) of the United States, and considered the most important of its kind.

In June and July, a jury of more than 300 executives evaluated the more than 3,700 nominations submitted by organizations from 67 countries.

Recognition
Christopher Paniagua, executive president of Popular, highlighted the acknowledgments of“Hazte ECO” and “Dominicana Creativa”, two proposals that reflect the banking entity’s commitment to being a catalyst for sustainable development and one of the economic and cultural potential of the country.
