Police surprised by citizen’s unique move to avoid arrest

WASHINGTON: An American citizen climbed a tree to avoid arrest, but police arrested the suspect after two days of trying.

According to foreign media, a two-day incident took place in the village of Brookville near New York City, USA, when a citizen climbed a tree to avoid being arrested by the police.

An arrest warrant was issued for Rudy Thomas for punching a 50-year-old woman in the face in his car.

According to the report, the victim was none other than Thomas’ mother, whom Thomas often threatened.

When police arrived at the woman’s home to arrest Thomas on a complaint, he climbed onto the roof and then into a tree to avoid arrest, and stayed in the tree for two days.

Police tried to bring the accused down through negotiations but all attempts failed, on which the accused said that he did not want to go back to jail and be tortured as he had been tortured behind bars in the past. ۔

According to the report, the police managed to take Thomas down and arrest him after two days of struggle.

Remember that Thomas went to jail three years ago.

Police say that an FIR has also been registered against Rudy Thomas in 2013 in which the accused was accused of torturing 10 officers.
