Maldonado police are investigating Robbery until four Apartments in a building Punta del Este. Roosevelt Avenue and Patagonia, where the building where the thefts were recorded early Thursday morning is located.
According to police investigations, there were four apartments where the robberies were reported. In all cases, the thieves entered via the balconies through unlocked windows and damaged mosquito nets: They stole jewelry, money and other belongings.
One of the victims was sleeping when he heard noises and saw a stranger coming out the window with a flashlight on.
A theft was also reported in a house next to the building where the serial robberies took place.
The police are working to solve these cases.
