Pogacar: “Milan San Remo is one of the most difficult races to win”

The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates), after his exhibition in Paris-Nice, has announced his participation in Milan San Remo next Saturday, according to the double winner of the Tour de France, “one of the most difficult races to win”

”Milan-San Remo is a beautiful race. I know the roads quite well: I don’t live very far and sometimes in practice I go up the Poggio. I have imagined many scenarios in my head of how the race could go and I am clear that it is one of the most difficult to win”, Pogacar pointed out.

The Komenda cyclist is recovering from the effort of Paris-Nice and will go to the “Classicissima” surrounded by a powerful team that completes Alessanddro Covi, Davide Formolo, Feliz Grossschartner, Domen Novak, Matteo Trentin and Diego Ulissi.

“After a great week in Paris-Nice, I am now recovering a bit and preparing for the big weekend. We have a strong team and we’re racing well together, so I think we’ll have a few different options for the finish.”
