The POCO X3 NFC and POCO X3 Pro are characterized by being a sales success for the Xiaomi sub-brand. The POCO X4 5G is the natural successor to the POCO X3 NFC, and it already has a confirmed name.
This smartphone with model number ‘2201116PG’ was certified by the FCC for global markets in early January, and the filter Mukul Sharma confirmed it on the social network Twitter. The name is confirmed again now that it has been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under the model number ‘2201116PI’.
The certifications reveal that the smartphone will hit the market with MIUI 13 out of the box, NFC, and also support for the N5, N8, N38, N41, N77, and N78 5G bands. Support that, remember, its predecessor did not have.
POCO X4 5G could be a modified version of Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G
It has been speculated that the POCO X4 5G could be very similar to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G already launched in China. Which would mean that the terminal would have a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
We can expect a 108 MP main camera, accompanied by an 8 MP ultra wide angle and a 2 MP depth sensor. The battery of the smartphone will be 5000 mAh with fast charge of 67 W.
As indicated, the global Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will arrive with the Snapdragon 690 processor. This is something that we could see confirmed this Wednesday at its global launch.
Only in February will we know if the POCO X4 5G will be a completely original smartphone, or if it is just a different version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. The team is only expected at a world event that will be confirmed for next month.
