Perales was admitted to a hospital in Japan on September 5 for “a picture of stress and anxiety”, as officially reported at the time by the Spanish Paralympic Committee. She returned to Spain on a medicalized plane on September 12 and since then, until her discharge date a few days ago, she remained admitted to a hospital in Madrid. “I want to thank the affection received for the days that I have been hospitalized between Tokio and Madrid. I have never been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and if it were, I would have no problem saying so, so my utmost support for those who have crises of this type “said Perales, in a video posted on his social networks.
“I am very sorry that while they were ruling out diseases such as a tumor, a stroke or meningitis, without my family and I knowing, someone told the media that I had a picture of anxiety and stress.
