Four innovative features have been introduced to WhatsApp, enhancing user experience. The new additions include:
Camera Effects Enhancements
Camera effects for video calls on WhatsApp have been upgraded with 30 different effects. The effects include special color accents, soft focus, artistic filters, and special backgrounds. This feature enables users to add more atmosphere to their video calls. The effects can now be used when recording photos, in addition to video calls.
Personalized Stickers
It is now possible to create personalized stickers using selfies. To do this, select the camera option under “Create a sticker” and take a selfie. WhatsApp will automatically crop the image, allowing you to send it as a sticker. This feature is currently only available on Android devices but is expected to launch on iOS devices soon.
Sharing Sticker Sets
Sticker sets can now be shared with others, making it convenient for users to access and use their favorite sets. To share a sticker set, select the set, go to the three-dot menu, and under “Send,” post a link directly into the chat for the other person to download the set.
Faster Message Reactions
Reacting to messages has been made easier with the ability to double-tap a message to scroll to the most used reactions and select an appropriate one. This eliminates the need to hold your finger on the message to access reactions.
