Indian star fast bowler Mohammed Shami picked up an injury ahead of the ODI series against Bangladesh. Shami has a shoulder injury. He gave this information through his official Twitter account. The Indian team has to play the ODI series from 4th December i.e. tomorrow. In this series, instead of Shami, the young fast pitcher Umran Malik has become a part of the team. Umran Malik was also seen playing in the recently played New Zealand tour.
Giving insight into his injury, Shami wrote: “Injury in general teaches you to appreciate every moment. I have dealt with injuries throughout my career. It’s polite. It gives you perspective. No matter how many times I get hurt, I learn from that injury and come back stronger.”
Some Pakistani fans have investigated Shami’s tweet, reminding him of Shoaib Akhtar’s tweet. Typing ‘Karma’ on Shami’s tweet, Pakistani fans reminded her of the tweet she had posted on Shoaib Akhtar’s tweet after Pakistan’s defeat in the 2022 T20 World Cup.

BCCI Secretary Jai Shah issued a press release saying about Mohammed Shami’s injury: “Fast bowler Mohammed Shami suffered a shoulder injury during the practice session ahead of the ODI series against Bangladesh. He is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical team in NCA, Bengaluru and will not be able to participate in the three-match series.The All India selection committee replaced Umran Malik in place of Mohammed Shami.
