‘Pakistan PM House data put up for sale on dark web’
PTI Leader Fawad Chaudhry questioned the cyber security situation in the country and said that the data of Pakistan’s PM House has been put up for sale on the dark web. Taking to his Twitter handle, the PTI leader wrote, This is a big failure of our intelligence agencies, especially the Intelligence Bureau (IB). According to The News, he said, apart from political matters, important discussions on security and foreign affairs are in his hands. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra also raised questions on the security of PM’s office and said, the leaked audio clip has raised alarm bells and raised serious questions on the security of PM House.
Opposition surrounded the government on the matter of leaking audio clip
It is also being said that secret recording systems have been installed in the PM House, of which even government representatives are unaware, The News reported. It said that an audio clip in which the meeting chaired by Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and attended by the top leadership of the PML-N at the prime minister’s residence has been leaked online, raising questions on the security of the premises.
A day back, a leaked audio went viral on social media. It reportedly had talks between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, asking them to import a power plant from India for their son-in-law. According to the report of ARY News, another purported audio conversation of the two has leaked in which Maryam Nawaz can be heard advising Shehbaz Sharif to increase fuel prices.
Pak Finance Minister Maryam complains to PM in leaked audio clip
Maryam Nawaz, who opposed the increase in fuel prices in the media, said that the hike in fuel prices is inevitable. ARY News reported that the PML-N veteran also complained about Finance Minister Mifta Ismail in an allegedly leaked audio conversation with PM Shehbaz Sharif. Maryam Nawaz is heard saying, Uncle! The US dollar is rising and Mifta Ismail is not taking responsibility for the increase. Maryam can be heard saying in the audio leak, Dar sahib has control over things, he knows what to do, but Mifta doesn’t. He said that even Mifta Ismail does not know what he is doing and what will be the result of his actions in future.

In the purported audio leak, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s vice-president said that he was disappointed, his complaints were coming from everywhere, ARY News reported. According to Dawn’s report, he does not take responsibility.. Says strange things on TV for which people make fun of him.. He doesn’t know what he is doing. The voice of PM Shahbaz is also clearly heard in the viral audio.
