The famous mental conditioning coach Paddy Upton has once again joined the Indian cricket team. He will be associated with the India team until the T20 World Cup which will take place in Australia. Paddy has reacted to this. He says that he is very excited about the new responsibility. Paddy has also given a statement about trainer Rahul Dravid.
Upton, who was part of the support staff for the 2011 World Cup winning Indian team, will join the team ahead of the third ODI against the West Indies in Port of Spain. He will be part of the Indian team until the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia.
Upton tweeted: “Thrilled and honored to be back on the Indian team and working with my longtime partner, my friend and head coach Rahul Dravid. Thank you Rajasthan Royals with whom we both stayed together.
Upton was first associated with the Indian team by former head coach Gary Kirsten when he took charge of the senior team in 2008. The two made a successful partnership until 2011. After this, Upton was associated with various IPL teams and worked with Dravid in Rajasthan Royals.
Excited and privileged to be back in #TeamIndia colors, working alongside his former colleague, friend and head coach Rahul Dravid. Much of our trip was thanks to @rajasthanroyals https://t.co/4v38iDGWgc
