Bamako: The West African country of Mali has ordered the human rights director of the United Nations peacekeeping mission to leave the country.

According to the statement released by the government, Indali has been given 48 hours to leave Mali. Otherwise legal action will be taken.

The Mali government says that Indali has harmed the country’s stability by abusing diplomatic etiquette and responsibilities.

Earlier, the Bamako government also deported Menosma’s spokesman, Oliver Salgado, in July last year.

Salgado said there were also demands for the release of 49 Ivory Coast soldiers after their capture in Mali.
