Abu Dhabi: The police in the UAE arrested a six-member gang and seized a large consignment of drugs in a successful operation.
According to the Arab media report, Abu Dhabi police arrested the suspects and recovered 107 kilograms of drugs from their possession. The police say that the arrests were made as a result of Operation Secret Hideout.
Brigadier General Tahir Al Zahiri says that the police were monitoring the movement of the suspects when they were trying to bury the drugs and they were arrested red-handed.
He said that the authority uses the latest technology and other methods to take action against drug dealers.
Brigadier General Tahir Al-Zahiri said that ‘the accused were experts in hiding drugs in many secret places, they were arrested under a successful strategy.
He said that citizens should report any suspicious activity to the police immediately, this behavior can save the community from the dangers of drug abuse.
