Kohli played an inning of 82* runs on 53 balls. Chasing runs, Virat Kohli hit two sixes in the 19th over fast pitcher Haris Rauf. With those sixes, the match had gotten very close to India. Hardik Pandya said about those two sixes that only Virat could have hit those sixes.

Speaking to BCCI, Hardik said: “I’ve hit a lot of sixes, but those two are special and very special in my heart because they mean a lot to us. I’ve played a lot of cricket, but I don’t think anyone other than Kohli can play those two shots.”
Speaking further, Hardik said: “The best part was that we fought together. It wouldn’t have been so special if we went and hit fast. You have made incredible shots. It was also special because we knew we were fighting.
Hardik further said: “I saw the pressure on the team. I will say with great respect that a lot of people feel pressure in big games and know how important it is. We worked very hard as a team and people were happy with each other.”
Hardik further said: “Today I was numb. When I got to the field, I was very happy. I was talking to Rahul Dravid sir. I can tell he was tense but he told me: ‘You have done a lot and stay calm.’
