There was a shooting in the neighborhood April 19th, this Wednesday evening. A man died there and two other people were injured, including one police who was shot in the stomach. He was admitted to the Hospital del Cerro and transferred to the police hospital.
Another wounded man, shot three times in the back, was taken to Maciel Hospital in a private vehicle.
The shooting occurred at the end of Cañada Jesús MarÃa Boulevard. The police were working on collecting evidence there on Wednesday evening.
Sources in the investigation pointed out to News Agency that the personnel of the operational zone IV were working on a control by criminals who bought through social networks and then looted those who brought the orders to the place.
According to the sources, an attempt was made to capture these people and it was in this context that the shooting occurred.
The injured police officer was taken to Cerro Hospital and, once stabilized, transferred to the police hospital. He is stable and needs surgery for the gunshot wound to his stomach.
