AS Roma made official the incorporation of Eldor Shomurodov until the summer of 2026, in one of the first moves by the selection of the Italian capital since the arrival of Jose Mourinho to the club. The transfer ended at 17.5 million euros, as reported by Transfermarkt on its website.
The 26-year-old Uzbek forward comes to AS Roma after a good season at Genoa, where he scored eight goals and provided two assists in 32 games played. He is a versatile footballer, although he stands out for acting as a striker. He has already acted as a striker, striker, guard and even an attacking midfielder. A profile that José Mourinho likes a lot, mainly for having him on the roster and using him as a valuable piece in the caster. It’s Eldor Shomurodov’s first chance at a top team in Europe.
