For at least a week, Philadelphia Eagles and the Houston Texans they had something in common: they both won on the same Sunday.
The first and last place in the classification celebrated at the end of their respective commitments.
For bet lines it was no surprise that Philadelphia got off to its first 5-0 start since 2004 by beating the Arizona Cardinals, but the Texans did break pools by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road.
The 2022 season joins 1990 and 2018 as the only campaigns since 1970 in which each team has at least one win through Week 5.
In the equity league, all the organizations have already won.
And while the results for Philadelphia and Texans don’t alter their standings, there are plenty of marks and milestones that led to multiple scoreboards moving teams up and down like it was a game of snakes and ladders.
Like the Dallas Cowboys moving up to Top-5 without Dak Prescott taking the balls behind the center.

However, beyond all that, what we can celebrate is the new security measures adopted by the Players Union and the National Football League.
The new concussion protocol prevented the Dolphins quarterback Teddy Bridgewater returned to the field thanks to the observer detecting stumbles in his walk despite the fact that he had passed the tests.
Tua Tagovailoa, also a Miami quarterback, suffered a couple of concussions between the Week 3 and 4 that put the NFL on alert and forced the Players Union and the league to establish new scales in their protocols.
The health of the players must be a priority.
1-Philadelphia Eagles (5-0)
The week before: 1
The Eagles were efficient running the ball, amassing 139 rushing yards on 33 carries and controlling the time of possession for 34:39. Philadelphia kept Murray and the Cardinals offense off the field.

Josh Allen completed 21 of 31 passes for 424 yards against the Steelers, second-most in team history.
3.- Kansas City Chiefs (4-1)
The week before: 3
With Patrick Mahomes hitting Travis Kelce four times, the Chiefs beat the Raiders in a game in which they came from 17 points behind. Kansas City has punch, but they also get a lot of points scored and a lot of yards rushed.

Seized the NFC North lead Justin Jefferson finished with a career-high 12 receptions for 154 yards.
5.- Dallas Cowboys (4-1)
The week before: 9
The Cowboys’ impressive start to the season without Dak Prescott is also very real, and not even the defending Super Bowl champions could stop them.

The previous week: 13
In addition to very good photos from London, the Giants returned to New York with a victory that few expected. The Giants scored 17 unanswered points in the second half of the game.

Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns, Emmanuel Moseley intercepted Mayfield and returned it 41 yards for a score

Justin Tucker kicked a 43-yard field goal on the final play to lead the Ravens to a victory over the Bengals and put behind them the bitterness of losing to the Bills when they led by 17 points.

Tom Brady avoided his first three-game losing streak since 2002 by powering the Bucs’ drive with 357 yards and a touchdown pass.

The week before: 2
Defeat the double. The Dolphins lost another quarterback to injury when Teddy Bridgewater, starting in place of Tua Tagovailoa, was hit by Ahmad Sauce Gardner. Miami has two consecutive losses.

The week before: 8
Cooper Kupp had a 75-yard touchdown reception for the Rams (2-3), who fell below .500 for the second time in coach Sean McVay’s six seasons.

Derrick Henry rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown, and for the third time the defense withstood the win, this time intercepting at the 1-yard line.

The Chargers’ rushing offense was the worst in the league, but Austin Ekele rushed for 163 yards to help beat the Browns.

All three of Cincinnati’s losses this season have been on last-play field goals. They must learn to manage the clock better.

They came off a 12-game losing streak against the Dolphins.

Rookie Dameon Pierce rushed them for 99 yards with a touchdown and for the fifth straight time they lost to Houston.

The week before: 17
Atlanta has one of the most productive running games in the NFL, but it didn’t have much success without leading rusher Cordarrelle Patterson, who sat out due to injury in the loss to the Buccaneers.

The week before: 18
The Cardinals never led in the scoring against the Eagles, but it looked like they would take the game into overtime until Matt Ammendola missed a 43-yard field goal.
20.- Indianapolis Colts (2-2-1)

They won a game that featured seven field goals, a dozen clearances, 25 third-down stops, four interceptions and six fumbles.
21.- Cleveland Browns (2-3)
Last week: 20
Rookie Cade York missed a 54-yard field goal with 11 seconds left to go down to the Chargers.

The previous week: 29
They shut out the best scoring offense in the league, plus Bailey Zappe threw a touchdown pass in his first career start as a quarterback and Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 161 yards.
23.- New Orleans Saints (2-3)
Last week: 27
The Saints snapped a three-game losing streak thanks to Tayson Hill rushing for three touchdowns, including a 60-yarder in the fourth quarter against the Seahawks.

As much as Geno Smith is playing the best football of his professional career, it’s hard for a team to get back-to-back wins by giving up 39 or more points.

Justin Fields completed 15 of 21 passes for a season-high 208 yards, but they still didn’t win.

The Lions were shut out for the first time since 2020.

The $245 million given to Russell Wilson seems like the worst investment ever made by retailer Walmart. Wilson was sacked four times and intercepted twice in the embarrassing loss to the Colts.

They couldn’t hold a 17-point lead against the Chiefs. They couldn’t score a conversion to win the game, but they did lose again for the fourth time this season.

Falling by 35 points to the Bills, they suffered the worst loss in the Mike Tomlin era.

The Panthers fell to 11-27 under coach Matt Rhule. Management couldn’t take it anymore and fired Rhule.

The previous week: 26
Ron Rivera declared during the week that reconstructions are not done overnight, the problem is that in Washington it takes about 700 nights and the team sinks more and more. Fourth loss in a row.
