New rules and regulations for students in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Saudi Education Minister Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh has clarified the new rules and regulations issued in view of the coronavirus.

Saudi Arabia’s education minister, Dr. Hamad al-Sheikh, says 93 percent of schoolchildren have received the first dose of the corona vaccine. Precautions will be taken in all cases.

He said that from next week, the vaccinated students will start coming to school.

The minister said that the Saudi Ministry of Education had issued a guidebook on the prevention of corona virus before the return of students to schools next week.

Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh said that the students will go straight to the classroom while maintaining social distance. He has decided to keep the school buffet and cafeteria closed.

Students will have lunch in the classroom. Under the guidebook, parents should monitor their children’s health and notify schools at the earliest of any changes.
