Nadal, Djokovic or Federer: who has more Grand Slams and how many each has won

Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal y Roger Federer aplauden durante un acto del ATP Heritage Celebration en el Waldorf Astoria de Nueva York en 2013.

The rivalry and the battle to be the best tennis player of all time has a new chapter this Sunday in the final of the Australian Open, since Rafa Nadal can make history if he wins the title against the Russian Daniil Medvedev, since he would become the tennis player with the most Grand Slam in the history of men’s tennis.

Who has more Grand Slam?

Right now there are three tennis players tied as the tennis players with the most Grand Slams in the men’s category: they are the Swiss Roger Federer, the first who managed to beat the historic mark of 14 achieved by Pete Sampras; the Spanish Rafa Nadal and the Swiss Novak Djokovic, the last to join this club after winning Wimbledon last year.

How many Grand Slams have they each won?

Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic accumulate 20 Grand Slam titles in their showcases each. Djokovic was able to break that tie in the last US Open but he did not succeed and now it is Rafa Nadal who can make history in an Australian Open in which neither Djokovic is present, deported for not being vaccinated, nor Federer, absent due to injury. This is how the 60 Grand Slams they have won are divided between Federer, Nadal and Djokovic.

Roger Federer: 6 Australian Open (2004, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2017 and 2018), 1 Roland Garros (2009), 8 WImbledon (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2017) and 5 US Open (2004 , 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008).
