The national secretary of the union, Al-Sharqi Al-Hamihi, made a statement calling for action: ‘At this stage, we can only rely on speculation. The disappearance of these drivers early yesterday morning raises our concern.’

Accountability and Action

‘We kindly request that the Moroccan diplomatic authorities intervene and publicly declare what is known about the drivers’ disappearance as soon as possible, and encourage their aid to safely return our nationals,’ stated Al-Hamihi, during a public address.
