Kuwait City: Muhammad Jassim Al-Saqr played a key role in revoking the decision to ban foreigners aged 60 and over in the Gulf country of Kuwait.

According to foreign media reports, the decision to ban 60-year-old foreigners has been canceled due to the efforts of Al-Saqr, head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kuwait.

The report states that the decision to suspend work permits for immigrants aged 60 and over in Kuwait who have completed high school education or less was later revoked, according to the Kuwaiti Fatwa and Legislation. Al-Saqr rendered invaluable services in this important initiative of the department.

The Kuwaiti government gave good news to foreigners

It should be noted that the Kuwaiti authorities have recently stopped the implementation of the decision regarding foreigners. They say that work permits for people over the age of 60 will not be banned.

A senior source in the fatwa and the legislature also confirmed to local media that the administration had overturned the decision to ban the renewal of residence permits for foreign immigrants aged 60 and over.
