Movistar confirms the fourth season of 'The least expected day'

Cycling fans are in luck as they will be able to enjoy the fourth season of ‘The least expected day’, one of the most followed and most commented documentaries on cycling since the launch of its first season after the 2019 campaign.

The Movistar team has confirmed this Tuesday through its social networks that the fourth season will be broadcast thanks to the great response from the fans on social networks so that the new episodes of the documentary see the light.

A campaign that began on November 18 with this tweet from Telefónica: “Do you want a fourth season of ‘The least expected day’? If you want to see it as much as we do, like this tweet and if we reach 4,000, we will convince Movistar Plus to continue with the series. What do you think, Movistar Team?”

This Tuesday the Telefónica tweet already accumulated more than 4,300 “likes”, so it was officially confirmed that this fourth season would be broadcast in which Movistar’s fight to avoid relegation from the World Tour, the abandonment of Enric Mas in the Tour and his subsequent resurrection in La Vuelta, the great season of the women’s team with victories in Giro, Tour and Vuelta by Annemiek Van Vleuten and the farewell to Alejandro Valverde’s squad point to be several of the outstanding moments of ‘The least expected day’.
