Motorola Edge 20: Its 108 MP sensor and 120Hz display appear in 3D rendering

Indian website PriceBaba, in partnership with OnLeaks, has published the specs as well as 3D renderings of Motorola’s next high-end smartphone.

Last year, Motorola radically renewed its high-end segment by introducing two new smartphones, the Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge+. It seems that the American company, bought in 2014 by Lenovo, is continuing this impetus for its first high-end smartphone.

PriceBaba, in partnership with French leaker OnLeaks, actually published today several 3D renderings of the brand’s next smartphone, called Motorola Edge 20. Enough to discover the smartphone in images from multiple angles, but also in one 3D rendered video. We can thus discover a camera module composed of three cameras, a 6.7-inch display with flat edges and with rather notable borders, a selfie camera housed in a punch hole positioned at the top, in the center of the screen, and a fingerprint reader on the edge also acting as a standby button.

PriceBaba website also published the expected smartphone features. According to the Indian website, the Motorola Edge 20 would thus be equipped with a 6.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone would carry a 4000mAh battery and the rear camera module consist of three cameras: a 108 megapixel main, a 16 megapixel second, and the last 8 megapixels. However, it is not known which role will be assigned to each of the two secondary sensors.

As was the case with last year’s Motorola Edge, the Motorola Edge 20 should not have Qualcomm’s most high-end chip, but a Snapdragon 778G. This processor would be supported by 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage, depending on the version.

For now, it is not known when Motorola intends to officially unveil its Motorola Edge 20. Last year, the Motorola Edge and Edge+ were officially unveiled in April. We can bet that the publication of 3D renderings means that the smartphone has already gone into production and that its official presentation will not be long in coming.
