An American fashion designer has become popular on social networks for temporarily tattooing the body of her two-year-old baby. Her action has led her to receive strong criticism from Internet users, however, Shameka Morris, the infant’s mother, says she does not care about people’s opinions.
At just two years old, The minor usually has his entire body covered with tattoos which have been devised by his motherwho began engraving designs on her son when he was about six months old.
This action has been repudiated by his own family, as Morris assures that since he began to design his son’s skin, his relatives were very upset.
The case was announced on the television reality show “My Extraordinary Family” or “My extraordinary family”, it is Spanish, there the mother narrated that it all started when in the middle of her pregnancy she decided to do a photo session with her brothers in a tattoo studio; In one image you can see the lady with her belly and part of her body tattooed, while her brothers pretended to be tattoo artists.
“All the comments were negative. People said that my baby would be born with a lot of tattoos. I was laughing, but I said: I will take revenge on them,” Shameka narrated.
Given this, when she gave birth to her son, she began to capture her body and share them on social networks, causing disgust among people, who consider tattooing a child “abusive”.
“I get a lot of backlash, people say that I am raising my son as a “gangster”, a bully; They are not used to seeing a baby with tattoos,” Morris told the US program.
Insults and opinions are of no use, as she assures that she does not mind being judged because “that is the lifestyle they enjoy.”
“My son Traylin loves temporary tattoos and I like to put them on him”, he added.
From time to time the mother goes to a tattoo studio, to capture new designs on the arms, legs or the entire body of her infant.
At his young age, Shamekia’s eldest son has become quite a celebrity, this is because his mother created an Instagram user for him, where she shares photos of the boy dressed in designer clothes and showing off his tattoos.
Traylin has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram, which she uses to promote clothing or tennis brands.
