More than 580 million XRP has been moved between Ripple, exchanges and unknown wallets in the last 24 hours.
Remarkably many transfers
Large amounts of XRP are still being transferred between Ripple, unknown whales and popular cryptocurrency exchanges. In the past 24 hours, cryptocurrency whale tracking service Whale Alert revealed that 581,357,954 XRP was moved among Ripple whales. At the current exchange rate, it is therefore about 221.8 million dollars.
Earlier today, 50 million XRP worth approximately $18.74 million was moved from Ripple to an unknown wallet.
Whale Alert observed the movement of 35 million XRP tokens worth approximately $13.26 million from an address on the Bittrex exchange to an unknown wallet.
Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity partner Bitstamp was involved in the latest round of major XRP moves. In addition, 39,724,954 XRP tokens worth approximately $15.2 million were transferred from Bitstamp to an unknown wallet.
In a similar development, 26.6 million XRP were transferred from another Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity partner, Bitso, to an unknown wallet. At the time of the transaction, the XRP coins were worth $10.29 million. In a reverse transaction, 30 million XRP coins were moved from an unknown wallet to Bitso.
Huge XRP trades
Furthermore, an anonymous whale also transferred a considerable amount to a Bitstamp address. It is worth 13.41 million dollars, which is approximately equal to 35 million XRP tokens.
Moments later, as many as 150 million XRP tokens were sent from one unknown wallet to another. An hour later, Whale Alert also tracked the transfer of 150 million XRP to an unknown FTX wallet.
Finally, a total of 30,033,000 XRP was moved from the Bitstamp exchange to FTX and 35 million XRP from an unknown wallet to Bitstamp. So huge XRP trades have taken place today. Whether this is related to the impending denouement of the lawsuit and a renewed bullish sentiment is not clear.
