More than 40 countries are talking about Bitcoin in El Salvador

President Nayib Bukele has announced that El Salvador will host representatives from 44 countries to talk about the digital economy, bankless banking and El Salvador’s adoption of Bitcoin and its benefits.

The biggest crypto event ever

In 3 days, 32 central banks and 12 financial authorities (of a total of 44 countries) will meet in El Salvador to discuss financial inclusion, digital economy, banking without banks, the rollout of Bitcoin and its benefits in our country. Bukele said on Twitter.

The participants include the Central Bank of Paraguay, the Bank of Uganda, the National Bank of Angola, the Bank of the Republic of Haiti, the Central Bank of Madagascar, the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea, the Central Bank of Eswatini and its Ministry of Finance.

Bukele also stated that the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) of Kenya, the National Bank of Rwanda, General Superintendency of Financial Entities of Costa Rica, the State Bank of Pakistan and the Central Bank of El Salvador would also attend.

The meeting will mainly be attended by developing countries. It is not surprising that these countries are looking at new options. These countries feel left out by developed economies and credit institutions.

Bitcoin will have a major impact in developing countries. This is because people in developing countries simply do not buy Bitcoin for profit. They buy Bitcoin because they want more economic freedom.
