The Latin American motocross champion Manny Mora dominated the MX1 category at will at the Caribbean Mx Race Park in Santo Domingo, a circuit where the DIGESETT Grand Prix was held, which marks the fourth date of the national championship on the calendar and receives the support of the Dominican Motorcycle Federation.
The first Heat of the highest category of Motocross in our country was won by Mora, who led the 12 agreed laps and took an advantage of more than 8 seconds over the second place when reaching the frames. Franklyn Nogueras jr, was second followed by Mick Laurie. The second Heat Mora dominated again, Laurie second and Joshua Holtenson third, Nogueras jr. could not complete the heat with only 5 laps.
The Master A category was adorned by the return of former Enduro champion René Columna who prevailed in a close battle with Ariel Lora dividing the heats but resulting in René at the top of the podium, third came the Latin American Enduro champion Joel Coronado, while in the Master B José Castillo “Mata de Coco” won easily supported by his experience, leaving Stanley Vargas and Anthony Jiménez second and third respectively.

In other results of the other categories that saw action in the Digesett Grand Prix are the Pre Experts in which Alejandro Fernández was invincible taking both heats, Miguel Ángel Mara escorted him on both occasions while Jowen Castillo was able to add for third place .
In the Rookies Kelvin García and Arturo Rodríguez shared the two heats, with García as the best result, who managed to finish second in one of the heats, while Jorge Hernández placed third in the competition.
The DIGESETT together with the Dominican Federation of Motorcycling, will begin a series of road education programs for motorcyclists throughout the country to reinforce social responsibility in each user and try to lower the annual accident rate in our country as well as reduce the mortality rate from that scourge.
This national championship will have 12 dates in the different tracks located in different regions of the country, and will show the novelty of launching the championship of the Latin American nations that will be carried out from the month of November of the current year, within the plan of motocross renewal includes greater security for the fans in each track that will enjoy the competitions.
