United Arab Emirates (The President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued an order for the release of more than 1,000 prisoners from UAE prisons before Ramadan.

In this regard, the UAE’s official news agency WAM said in a report that this decision is part of President Mohammed bin Zayed’s humanitarian initiatives that reflect the values ​​of forgiveness and tolerance to give pardoned prisoners a new life. To be given a chance to start over and ease the suffering of their families.

Every year in the UAE, the government releases prisoners from prisons by granting amnesty before the days of other holy festivals besides the month of Ramadan.

It should be noted that the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ordered the release of 505 prisoners from correctional and disciplinary institutions in the emirate on July 6 last year before Eid al-Adha.

Also, the Ramadan moon was not sighted in Saudi Arabia and the UAE on Tuesday evening, which means that the holy month will officially begin on Thursday.
