Miguel Andújar homers for the second game in a row and the Bulls triumph

Ronald Bolaños pitched into the sixth inning and Miguel Andújar homered for the second consecutive game, to lead the Toros del Este to an 8-2 victory against the Gigantes del Cibao, in a game held this Saturday at the Francisco A. Micheli stadium. Miguel Andújar hit a home run with one on board to lead the attack for the Bulls in the fifth inning where they produced 5 runs. With this, Andúja extends his hitting streak to 7 games in a row. The win went to starter Ronald Bolaños (2-3, 4.05) who pitched 5.1 innings, 1 earned run, 6 hits, a walk and a strikeout. The defeat went to the giant starter Cristopher Crisostomo (0-1, 5.06) as he allowed 3 runs in 2.1 innings.

The races

The Giants scored two runs between the first and third innings, after which the Bulls responded in the bottom of the third inning with 3 runs against pitches from starter Crisostomo and added five in the fifth, to make the score 8-2.
