Marko Dmitrovic has not played any official match for two months

The arrival of Dmitrovic to Sevilla in the summer market augured an increase in the level of competition in the goal of those of Nervión. However, if this has occurred it has only been in training, since Lopetegui continues to place his total trust in Bono.

This translates to the former Eibar has already accumulated two months without playing an official match. Dmitrovic made his debut for Sevilla on the first day of the league championship, a match for which Bono was out due to COVID. Despite his good performance and leaving a clean sheet, Lopetegui has not introduced any type of rotation in the other eight games that the Sevilla players have played and in which Bono has been chosen.

Dmitrovic’s lack of minutes at Sánchez Pizjuán has not been alleviated in international breaks. Despite having been summoned by Serbia both in September and in the current one, Dmitrovic has watched all those games from the same place he watches Sevilla’s, the bench.

In Sevilla there is no doubt about the level of the Serbian and It is recalled that in January, when Bono goes to the Africa Cup with Morocco, his time will come. For now, Dmitrovic has no choice but to keep waiting for his chance.
