With the slogan “Diego unites us”, Diego Armando Maradona will be remembered next Saturday in a tribute “to the best player in the world and his permanent support to human rights defenders” that will be held in the Memory Space of the former Esma – between 11 am and 5 pm, organized by the Tea & Deportea journalism school; and Relatives of the Disappeared and Detained for Political Reasons.

During the day, which will take place outdoors in the central courtyard of the space, there will be talks, book presentations, video projections, exhibition football matches, displays of murals, photos, drawings and a blitzkrieg championship organized by the grouping Peón Vuelve -Swiss system with seven rounds with a time of 6 + 2-, in addition to a musical closing. “Maradona was always close to mothers and grandmothers, and that motivated us to carry out this tribute; whenever he was summoned he was present and this will be a different way of remembering him,” they expressed from the organization of the event.

They will participate, among others, Lita Boitano, Juan Sasturain, Alejandro Apo, Juan José Panno, Miguel Rep, Pedro Saborido, Mónica Santino, Claudio Morresi, Sergio Batista, Viviana Vila, Sergio Goycochea, Ariel Scher, Ezequiel Fernández Moores, Tití Fernández, Cucuza Castiello, José Luis Lanao, Angela Lerena, Walter Saavedra, Carlos Flores Romano, and Daniel Dátola.

Admission is free and admission will be through Avenida del Libertador 8151, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Núñez.
