Man sues 27 women for defaming him in an online dating group

Nikko demandó a 27 mujeres por USD 75 millones al «difamarlo» en un grupo de citas en Facebook

A US man is suing 27 women after they left him negative reviews on a Facebook page set up to share their dating experiences.

Nikko D'Ambrosio made headlines when he filed an appeal against these individuals, demanding approximately $75 million in compensation for the damage they caused to his reputation.

All of this was recorded after her photo was shared in a private Facebook group titled “Are we dating the same man?” where several users shared their perception about it.

“Defendants spread their outrageous, cruel and malicious lies about Plaintiff knowing the statements were false or being recklessly indifferent to whether they were true or not,” the lawsuit says.

The 32-year-old's lawyers argued that this Facebook group is used by women who want to empower each other and protect themselves from “toxic” men by identifying their “red flags.”

But that wouldn't be all, as apparently these groups would have subgroups all over the US where users could share information about the men they met.

The man says these messages touched him

Nikko D'Ambrosio believes many of the messages are false and have caused him “personal humiliation, mental anguish and suffering, emotional distress, stress, anxiety and loss of income.”

The man mentioned that he went to a cultural event in Chicago with one of the women and had sexual relations with her. Although they continued to meet on other occasions, nothing sentimental came of it.

This woman was allegedly the one who sent a message accusing Nikko of becoming “very clingy very quickly.”

In addition, he said that he was always bragging about his wealth and always had business calls to attend to.

Following publication, several women said they had similar experiences with him, confirming his supposed “red flags.”

“I went out with him several times over a year ago and he told me what I wanted to hear until I broke up with him and then he disappeared… I would stay away from it,” one user said.

In this way, this man sued at least 27 women and Meta (the company that owns Facebook) because of the experiences he had to go through.

Nikko D'Ambrosio expects to pay $75 million for the damage caused to him by these defamatory messages on social networks.
