Maduro tries to send Biden a message in English, sparking laughter from the public

Nicolás Maduro wants to improve Venezuela’s relations with the United States, two days after US sanctions against Venezuela came into effect again, Nicolás Maduro thought of sending a message to Joe Biden live on television, in English. But the attempt ended with laughter from the audience because the pronunciation was difficult.

Maduro’s message to Biden

“I call on negotiators to send the following message to President Biden: ‘I want… I want. If you don’t want to, I don’t want to,’ said Maduro. His message sparked laughter from the public and a wide range of comments on social networks.

Frustrated by the laughter of those present, Maduro tried to translate the message into “Caracaño” to get out of the awkward moment. “If you want, I want. If you don’t want it, I don’t want it. Last point”.
