Like the Bored Ape that Madonna is a fan of, her own Bored Ape also has the characteristic leather hat. However, it lacks the colored teeth and some other rare features, putting Madonna’s Bored Ape in 3794. The Bored Ape she would have loved the most is at number 123 in the list of 10,000 bored monkeys.
Madonna is a fan of NFTs
That Madonna thinks NFTs is cool is apparent from her other purchases. She didn’t stick with that one Bored Ape. For example, Madonna owns two World of Women NFTs, which she bought for about $13,000 each. She also owns a piece of land in Otherdeed, the Yuga Labs metaverse.
Madonna has also marketed NFTs herself. Together with Beeple, she spent one year working on a series of philosophical Ethereum NFTs under the name “Mother of Creation”, featuring videos of quite a naked Madonna. The three NFTs were sold in May for 170.5 Ethereum, 66.55 Ethereum and 72.05 Ethereum. The proceeds have been donated to charity.
