The National Basketball League (LNB) announced this Friday that its 2022 rookie draw will be held on Wednesday, April 20, at the Hard Rock Café, located in Blue Mall.
The announcement was made by Antonio Mir, president of the entity, who also reported that the registration process for the draft has already been opened electronically for players eligible to enter the first division circuit.
Last year, a total of 225 players signed up, including LJ Figueroa, a striker who was the first chosen player and who helped the Leones de Santo Domingo win the crown of national champions.
The order of selection of the first round will be from the last place to the champion. Therefore, the Indios de San Francisco de Macorís will have the first pick, followed by the Reales de La Vega, the Marineros de Puerto Plata and the Soles de Santo Domingo Este.
Then they will choose the Cañeros del Este, the Metros de Santiago, the Titanes del Distrito Nacional and finally the Leones.
Like last year, the 2022 LNB draft is expected to be full of quality players with the potential to immediately impact the league.
