Team India defeats Bangladesh in a historic win
India Takes Down Bangladesh in Thrilling T20 World Cup Match
India’s strong batting performance led to a 50-run victory over Bangladesh in the 47th match of the T20 World Cup 2024. The match was played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, where India won its second consecutive match in the Super-8 round.
The Indian batsmen put up an impressive show, with Hardik Pandya scoring an unbeaten 50 runs in 27 balls. Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and Shivam Dubey also contributed significantly to the team’s total of 196 runs for the loss of five wickets.
In response, Bangladesh’s batting faltered, with the team managing to score only 146 runs. Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets, while Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets each for India.
With this win, Team India has equaled the record of winning the most matches in the T20 World Cup, matching Sri Lanka’s record of 33 wins.
